The nearby village of Marchington & Draycott provides Post Office and Shop with fresh bread, milk and much more.  A Butchers shop is also close by, for all your requirements for the BBQ!

Visit Uttoxeter, a pleasant Market Town and enjoy a coffee and cake or a drink in one of the many cafes and bars in the centre of town.

Locally there are plenty of country pubs and eating places to suit all tastes.

  • Already set-up when you arrive.

  • More privacy and security than a tent.

  • No wind whipping or flapping to keep you awake.

  • No putting up and taking down of wet tents.

  • An outside area for dining and chilling out.

  • A guaranteed dry place should the weather get a little damp.

There are 2 camping pods available, and they are an eco-friendly alternative to camping.  They are also more secure than tents as they have lockable French windows which are double glazed to reduce condensation and provide sound insulation. There is a small, high-level window in the back wall this not only provides light but will help keep the living space well-ventilated and aid 'through draft on hot summer days. Each Pod has lighting, heating, electric sockets and a carpeted floor.

The roof is designed to deal with a sudden down pour and the pod walls are insulated with sheep wool, while a special foil layer under the roof helps keep summer temperatures in check, making the camping pods practical whatever the weather!

The pods have plenty of head room and can accommodate 2 adults and 2 small children.  You basically bring everything you need for a camping trip, minus the tent!

The Pods have a decking area and small porch, their own picnic table and fire basket.

Please note that dogs are not allowed inside the Camping Pods.

Our prices start from the following:

  • Caravans inc electric hook up from £26/night

  • Tent pitches from £22/night

What Our Campers Say

“We've just returned from a lovely stay at Forestside. The showers and toilets were immaculate with lots of hot water! Very friendly welcome and a fantastic peek at farming life which we all enjoyed.”

“We spent a truly magnificent weekend at this site. The weather was
sunny and hot (which is always good for camping) but more importantly the views were amazing!”

“We have just returned from Forestside Farm after a weekend stay
with some friends. This is a lovely site, very peaceful (remember it is a
working farm with cows), and having an excellent view over the valley.”
