Booking Terms and Conditions

 

Booking Conditions

  • To confirm a reservation, we request a non-refundable deposit of 50%of the total booking.

  • VAT is charged at the current rate of 20% and is subject to change.

  • The deposit is payable by BACS. The balance is payable not later than 1 day prior to arrival.

  • Any refunds will be subject to a £10 administration fee.

  • Payment will be due in full if cancellation is 48hrs or less; deposit non-refundable, booking is transferable if 48hrs cancellation notice is given, subject to availability.

  • No single night bookings Friday – Sunday from March to September

  • Bank holidays are a minimum booking of 3 nights or will be charged as such.

  • All deposits are non-refundable; however, bookings are transferable subject to availability.

  • No campers 18 years and under unless accompanied by an adult.

  • No refunds are given for bad weather, unless at the owners’ discretion.

 

Terms & Conditions

  • All guests are expected to observe the following conditions, which are set out to promote a safe, efficient, and happy environment for all campers.

  • Arrivals after 2 pm; departures by noon.

  • Be respectful of your neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum.  We expect the site to be quiet 10 pm to 8 am., no music please.

  • Smoking/vaping is not permitted in or around the Shower block.and the Site.

  • Electric cars are not to be charged on site.

  • Max 4 adults/pitch

  • Pets:

    • Max of 2 pets unless by prior arrangement.

    • Must always be kept on a lead.

    • Must be exercised/toileted off site.

    • Must not be left unattended on site or left alone in vehicles.

    • Are not permitted in the amenities block.

    • Any fouling must be cleared away immediately.

  • Open fires are strictly forbidden. Charcoal BBQs are allowed; please ensure they are raised from ground level.

  • Other than toddlers' trikes, bikes are not to be ridden on site.

  • No flying of Drones or other remote appliances on the site.

  • Any day visitors are strictly by prior arrangement only.

  • The owners are absolved of all liability for accidents to caravans and guests, and from responsibility for loss or damage to personal property.

  • The owners reserve the right to ask any person not observing the site rules or creating a nuisance to leave the campsite.

  • The owners reserve the right to add to or alter these terms and conditions at any time.

  • The owners will not accept any liability for any loss or damage for any person, vehicle, caravan, motor home or tent or their contents. There are many natural hazards on the farm and the surrounding countryside, so please always ensure your own and your children’s safety.

 

Your Safety

  • Parents are requested to ensure that their children (of all ages) are supervised and kept under control. Please ensure that they do not wander around the farm unsupervised, although they are welcome to look around the main yard to see the cows and milking but only with an adult.

  • The Barn and other areas are strictly out of bounds, as can be dangerous.

  • WE WOULD ALSO ASK THAT PARENTS ENSURE THAT CHILDREN DO NOT DISTURB OTHER CAMPERS – We aim for this to be a quiet & relaxing stay for all.

 

Information

  • Caravans should be reversed onto pitch and not positioned broadside on.

  • Drinking water points are on the hard standings and middle fence.

  • Chemical toilet disposal is in the bottom left corner of the top paddock.

 

Pitches/Parking

 

Camping Pods

  • Please remove your outdoor shoes before entering

  • No Smoking

  • No cooking or naked flames or candles in or near to the Pod

  • No Dogs in the Pod please

  • Please do not cover the heater, there is a safety cut out switch and the heater will not work!! Please leave the Pod clean and tidy upon departure and turn off the lights and heater, lock the door and leave the key in the lock.

 

Facilities

There are showers and toilets available in the cabin in the adjacent yard. There is a washing up area, fridge, kettle, freezer, and microwave as well as Elec points for personal use. Please leave these facilities as you would wish to find them, supervising children’s use of them.

  • A fridge and freezer are available to use in the kitchen area please name food, ice packs etc. Kettle, Toaster, and microwave also are provided.

  • Refuse, glass and cardboard/paper recycling facilities are available on site. We accept household waste only - no camping equipment.

  • FIRE RISK – PLEASE TAKE EXTRA CARE IN DRY PERIODS with naked flames, cigarettes, BBQs etc, • FIRE EXTINGUISHER is located by the Shower block on the right.
